Booksellers
Newsletter
| |
Three
times a year, Pennwriters publishes a newsletter which
highlights books published by our members. Each
author is invited to provide a 200-250 word article
about his/her book. The newsletter is mailed to
approximately 200 bookstores in Pennsylvania as well
as to all members of Pennwriters. Many booksellers tell
us they use the newsletter to help them promote the
works of Pennsylvania authors. |
Authors'
Networking Luncheon
|
Available
at no cost to booksellers, a networking luncheon is held
at the annual Conference. Pennwriter published authors
are encouraged to attend and network with these important
guests. |
Promotional
Materials
|
Local
Author, Autographed by Author stickers; Bookmarks; An
autographing brochure, How to Plan and Hold a Successful
Autographing; a list of Pennsylvania Bookstores and
distributors; and a Books-in-Print listing of books currently
in print by member authors. |
Facilitation
and Networking
|
Pennwriters
members meet regularly across the state at professionally
run, Pennwriters sponsored conferences, workshops,
and critique sessions. Many of the guest speakers
at these events are Pennwriters own published members
who receive additional promotion for their works in exchange
for helping aspiring members. In addition, there
are six Area Representatives who facilitate communication
and support between members, ensuring that Pennwriters
get the level of networking and support they want. |
