Zoom Meetings

You may join any area’s zoom meetings.

All-genre Afternoon Critique Group: Meets from 2-4 pm on Zoom. Work-in progress up to 12 pages must be emailed ahead. Contact Janet Pierce at jlpierce494@gmail.com for more information.

Zoom Write-In: The concept of the write-in is very simple, and informal. We gather in my "room" and those who are around at the beginning can share (verbally or in the chat) their writing goals for that day. Then I will mute everybody, and we will work. No one will be seeing what you write, and you can turn your camera off, if you'd like. At almost the end of the session, we can unmute and talk about how it went. I will mention a break about halfway through, out of politeness.

* There is no cost.

* You may show up late, and likewise can leave early.

* You are not required to show up regularly. It's an opportunity, not a duty.

* It is hoped that primarily you'll be composing, rewriting, or editing, but other tasks are permitted. (Several of our participants are actually at their day jobs, and must deal with phone calls, emails, or pestering people in person.)

* These sessions are not a competition, and not a test.

If you are interested, please contact Timons at himself@timonsesaias.com for details.

Inkwell: Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month via Zoom beginning at 6 p.m. RSVP is required for the link. For more information email Jenn Diamond at jennifer.d.diamond.writer@gmail.com

Critique Group North: Consisting of eight members writing shorts, flashes, novels, meets on the second Thursday of the month on Zoom from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The group is currently at full capacity but is accepting candidates for a waitlist. Contact MaryAlice Meli at maryalicemeli@yahoo.com for information.
